    Description

    Underwrite Me (UMe) is looking to take its strong product portfolio to the next level, and looking to bring on board a talented product designer to help us in our journey to disrupt the life insurance industry.

    You will be a key member of our product teams, working with three different products (Marketplace, Decision Platform and our Data offering). You will be working with a strong team of Product Managers, Product Marketers, External Researchers, Engineers and Data Scientists. Team Outputs/Objectives
    As a product designer, you will deliver online and offline design projects to support the different product teams needs. You will provide visual systems, tools and communication that are simple, elegant and flexible to support our different regions globally (Europe, North America, Asia Pacific). Through regular engagements with internal stakeholders and customers, you will develop an understanding of the wants and needs of our users to support our quest to simplify complex business problems into a coherent, end-to-end customer experience. You will test your design, prototype and implementation on a regular basis and identify the best approaches to deliver the team design and product goals. Alongside your primary activities as Product Designer you will also be involved in establishing and cultivating a healthy and modern design process, and researching and showcasing knowledge of the industry's latest trends and technologies.

    What Will I be doing?

    Working with the Product Teams, you will be involved in the full design lifecycle from user research, ideation and design execution. This will require elements of information architecture, interaction design and visual design as well as building design libraries, helping to establish UMe's design process.

    Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists to define problems, solutions, user stories, user flows, customer journeys, mock-ups, prototypes and establish product direction. You will use your strategic product thinking and your design technical ability to improve our current product portfolio and support the development of new products, helping to identify opportunities, defining goals and assessing impact on customer experience.

    We're Interested in candidates who...

    Have 5+ years as a Product Designer, and a versatile portfolio showcasing deep interaction and problem solving skills for new products as well as improving existing legacy products. -

    Have FinTech/InsurTech experience, with a varied industry background knowledge (B2B, B2C & SaaS).

    Are experience building Design Systems and component libraries -

    Have a strong visual design and interaction design skills, with a passion for high quality finish.

    Are comfortable designing for responsive products (desktop and mobile).

    Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent understanding for design principles.

    Are comfortable in an agile environment which is challenging, transparent and focused on delivering high quality, valuable and viable products.

    Have experience of working in an Agile development framework
