    Software Engineer
    Part-time 2-3 days a week

    We're currently looking for an experience full-stack software engineer career - with an interest in data and advanced analytics.

    Work with our expert data and analytics consultants to help customers deliver more value from their data.

    This will play an important role in the technical and delivery teams and take ownership of the application development and front-end components of our platform builds for customers.

    Day-to-day work will involve project delivery and collaborating with stakeholders across our internal and customer teams.

    Technical work will include building, testing, deploying, maintaining, packaging, and explaining applications and front-end components for our data platform solutions for our customers - built with modern tools across the open source and cloud platform landscape.

    You will also be heavily involved in the outreach and knowledge sharing that Hypercube does.

    We will help you grow your brand through speaking, blogging, or other outreach methods should you wish.

    Work with developers, managers, and business stakeholders to understand and define components of the software landscape and how they relate to the wider platform
    Understand and translate end-user requirements into designs and delivery plans for effective software solutions
    Produce high-quality communications, documentation, and presentations of solutions for colleagues and customers
    Subject-matter expert and evangelist for strong software engineering practices
    Contribution to Hypercube's blog and other outreach efforts
    Working with the business development team to shape and win new projects
    Helping to grow both our internal knowledge and skill sets as we scale.

    Experience in full-stack web development
    Experience with component-based front-end development (ideally React, but we know you can learn quickly)
    You live a highly data-driven mindset with strong organisational skills
    You have a strong understanding of data products, software development life cycle & agile methodologies

    Building projects or sharing knowledge in public – whether that be contributing to open source, blogging, YouTube, content creation, speaking at events, or similar.

    Experience in collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, including data engineers, DevOps and infrastructure teams, data scientists etc.
    Experience in deploying and maintaining software systems and data pipelines in a production cloud environment
