Description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Research Governance Support Assistant (RGSA) to join the Research Governance Team within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.

Under the supervision of the Research Governance Officer, the RGSA will support academics and students from a variety of disciplines across the University to comply with internal and external research governance policies and procedures.

The RGSA will be the first point of contact and will be able to draw on their experience and knowledge of research governance to provide support and guidance to researchers at all levels.

Changes to legislation, national policies and University procedures can lead to shifts in research governance requirements.

The RGSA will be able to adapt to this evolving regulatory landscape, quickly learning how any changes may affect researchers and be able to incorporate these changes to the support they provide.

The Faculty research governance team has a consistently high volume of activity with several peaks throughout the year.

The RGSA will be able to meet deadlines and the demands of a busy service and have the ability to work under pressure during peak times.

As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status.

All appointments are made on merit.
