The Role:

As an Events Marketing Intern, you'll join a supportive and collaborative Events Team.

The team has two arms, and you'll be working directly with the Events Marketing team members on a wide range of projects & responsibilities.

We're an all-hands-on-deck team, so you'll also get the chance to collaborate with the Event Managers and other interns to support with delivery tasks when needed.


Specifically, you will:

  • Assist with the creation and development of relevant content for the Bright Network website
  • Review and proofread digital and print marketing materials to ensure highquality content is communicated to our B2C audience
  • Create and execute the social media strategy for upcoming events
  • Support with ontheday delivery at events, either live or virtual, and adhoc support in the runup
  • Assist our Event Project Coordinator with postevent analysis
  • Support with community management including managing preevent online community groups (Guild) and Student Leadership Boards

  • You can demonstrate a passion for marketing through your extracurricular involvement or prior relevant work experience
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and could be especially charismatic when interacting with highprofile clients and Bright Network members
  • You pride yourself on being a diligent and reliable team player with excellent time management skills
  • You're creative, with meticulous attention to detail
  • You have, or are looking to build, logístical and datahandling skills
  • You're keen to learn and willing to get stuck in by sharing ideas regularly, trying new projects and getting to grips with new software
  • Excited to work in a collaborative team, but also able to use your initiative and work independently within a fastpaced work environment
  • You share Bright Network's core values of growth mindset, will to win and trusted deliver, as well as being passionate about the Bright Network mission and helping our members
  • You are willing to travel into central London for our inperson events (occasionally outside of normal working hours) and work in the office ~3 days a week, particularly when we're in peak events delivery season
  • You're adaptable and flexible, particularly when challenges arise such as managing client expectations and supporting the team with lastminute preparations
