R&D Chemist

Location:
Carlisle

Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000
CY Partners have an exciting opportunity for a
R&D Chemist to join well established Films and Coatings manufacturer.

Working within one of the best R&D facilities in the industry you will be responsible for leading coating projects, newproduct development and raw material projects.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with raw material suppliers and customers to identify opportunities for new product development.
  • Mentoring of more junior members of staff within the department.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to various internal teams including manufacturing and marketing teams.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience with managing projects would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to quickly understand new concepts
  • Proficient at data analysis and interpretation
  • Able to work independently.
