Junior Digital Project Manager - PMO - Agile

A major central government is seeking an Junior Digital Project Manager to join them on an initial 3-month contract working from their Newcastle office, hybrid twice a week.

Manage project deliverables end-to-end, ensuring delivery to agreed parameters of quality, time and cost, in line with departmental delivery standards.
Assist in managing plans, risks, issues and governance for their work.
Encourage collaboration and good communication within their team, dealing with conflict and helping to establish a positive team culture.
Work effectively with stakeholders to create and monitor plans and approach, proactively identifying risks and issues.
Track and manage progress and budget, contributing to accurate reporting to more senior project managers and/or governance boards
Assist the Digital Project Manager to manage change and governance for their projects
Take responsibility for their own learning and development, continuously improve knowledge and skills in principles, methods, and tools in order to progress to reach Working level. Be an active member of the Delivery community.
Assist consistent communication across internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring consistency with broader project/digital messaging
Act as a point of contact for third party suppliers
