- Controlling the workload for pallet and lid construction
- Recording all branch pallet returns
- Cleaning the wagons if/when required
- Operate compactor and baler machines to a safe standard
- Ability to follow safe working instructions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions to support the operation, to meet the requirements of the shift and deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience within a recycling/yard departments preferable, but not essential
