We are working with a brilliant Autism provision based in Kilburn Park where every student is given the chance to access the best education available to them and a kind and caring staffing team to assist them with this.

**About the role

Autism Teaching Assistant
This Mixed foundation school provides education to students aged 7-11 years old, with up to 240 students in their mainstream site and 14 students in their specialist Autism Provision.

They are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant with experience workingwith young people with Autism from either paid work or personal experience. You will be working with students with an EHCP statement of Autism who may have additional needs including speech and language communication needs, assistance with personal care orexhibit challenging behaviours so prior experience working with individuals with similar needs is very desirable for this role. Your role will entail you working both on a 1-1 and small group basis with students to assist them to access their lessons and mayassist students who feel ready to engage in lessons in the mainstream school also.
