Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our school. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), across KS

4.

Responsibilities:

Work with teachers to plan and deliver interventions and support programs for students with additional needs, including those with SEND in KS
KS
Provide onetoone and small group support to KS
KS

4 students, in line with their individual needs and goals.

Assist teachers with the preparation and delivery of learning activities, adapting materials and resources as required to meet the needs of KS
KS

4 students with additional needs.

Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all KS
KS

4 students.

Monitor and track KS
KS

4 student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and senior leaders.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including supporting KS
KS

4 students during break times and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting
A good understanding of SEND and the additional support that KS
KS

4 students with SEND may require

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with KS
KS

4 students and colleagues

The ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting teachers and other support staff to achieve positive outcomes for all KS
KS

4 students

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
A willingness to undergo preemployment checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
