- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the night shift warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet operational demands.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the night shift, maintaining open communication with staff and management.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all warehouse activities, including inventory records, shipping and receiving logs, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and management to develop and implement strategies for improving warehouse operations.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably on a night shift.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Physically demanding environment, requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
