£22,759 per annum

**We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join our Maintenance Team. The team is

going through a time of growth and is looking for positive and proactive people to help promote

our ongoing commitment to delivering an excellent service to the residents & communities we

support. You will be helping to lead and develop our Cleaning Team to aid us implement our

new objectives ensuring a clear approach to maintaining our homes and properties where we

are recognised for our innovative working, forward thinking and friendly/caring style.

You will embrace a flexible working approach to deliver a cleaning service that provides the

best value to our people, residents and stakeholders ensuring they receive a quality, tailored

service.

This position is primarily responsible for performing window and communal cleaning services

for residential and commercial schemes, including interior and exterior cleaning of windows

and communal areas to the required cleaning specification.


Your main duties will include:


  • Use of lightweight extension poles or waterfed extension pole and water purification
system for cleaning external windows.

  • Ensuring external communal areas are well maintained and free from rubbish and
weeds, including removal of domestic and bulk items as necessary.

  • Undertaking maintenance work to assist the Group with the management of the
Housing Stock.

  • To ensure that a high standard of work is carried out without exception.
  • To offer resident focused support utilising ClwydAlyn's core values of 'Trust, Hope
and Kindness'


Who we are looking for:


  • An enthusiastic, well organised individual who can listen and communicate
proactively, whilst focusing on customer needs and satisfaction.

  • A person who can manage their own workload and the workload of others, as well as
be able to prioritise jobs accordingly.

  • Someone who can carry out all work to an excellent standard, comply with H&S,
current building regulations & most importantly be able to think on their feet/outside

the box.

  • You will have experience of working within the housing repair and maintenance
sector.

  • You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety issues related to working
within occupied domestic properties.

  • Must have a full driving licence.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
