SEN Teaching Assistant - Southall

Do you love supporting children? Are you interested in a career in education? Have previous experience working with children?

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a prmary school in Southall as a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in Year 1 and 2 with additional needs.

This is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

You do not need previous experience within a school setting as a SEN Teaching Assistant but you will ideally have previous experience working with children in some capacity.

The Role:

Help teacher with setting up and tidying up classrooms as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Able to work 1:1 and in small group settings with pupils as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Supervise group activities, including outings and sports events as a SEN Teaching Assistant

Requirements:

Available to work Immediately & fulltime Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm:

Recent experience with children as a SEN Teaching Assistant is ideal but you must have experience with children in some form of capacity
Good knowledge and understanding of how to meet the needs of SEN pupils with SLCN (speech, language & communication needs) is essential
Willing to be flexible and open to change when working on different activities as a SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
