    Construction Engineer

    Permanent Staff

    North East based

    Oil & Gas/ Energy sector

    An experienced Construction Engineer is required to work for a large Energy company, the role will be based in the North East.

    As the Construction Engineer, you will manage construction works of a large tank/ container and will proven experience in Construction Management.

    As the Construction Engineer, you will participate in major infrastructure or industrial projects and will have a technical background in one of the following:

    • Piling
    • Civil works
    • Mechanical works (steel structure, piping, equipment installation, E & I)

    You will ideally have previous experience in Cryogenic Tanks but this is not essential.

    Responsibilities

    • Safety Management: As the Construction Engineer, you will prioritize and enforce safety protocols and practices throughout the project to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that the works meet the required quality standards and specifications Design Coordination: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure that the works meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements and best methods for construction are implemented.
    • As the Construction Engineer, you will liaise with HR and administration to ensure correct set-up and management of IR relation of our subcontractor
    • Timeline Management: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any delays or deviations from the schedule to ensure timely project completion.
    • Budget Management: As the Construction Engineer, you will support construction manager for budget for subcontracted works in its remit, establish the construction budget, subcontract management and progress control and reporting
