Are you looking for a new challenge in a Warehouse environment? Our client is looking for
Customs Admin based in Hull, this could be you
What can we offer you as a part of the Customs Admin team:
- 12 months fix term contract
- Salary: £23/£24,000
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, AM-PM / AM-PM
What will you be doing as part of the Customs Admin team:
- Downloading all documents and saving to share-point for future reference and audits
- Contacting suppliers and customs brokers to ensure all docs are available
- Downloading monthly reports from customs to check all records are in place and we are compliant
- Obtaining documents for all deliveries for the past year and downloading, saving, and archiving for future reference and audits
- Reporting supplier performance to management
- Scanning any hardcopy invoices and saving to Share point
- Archiving Export Documents in the repository for LY shipments
- Coordinating with Hauliers for missing Export Declarations and PODs for LY Shipments
- Updating compliance tracker for shipments for LY based on document checklist
Qualifications and skills needed as a Customs Admin:
- System training
- SAP, customs database, Excel,
- Exports Documents & Procedures
- Onboarding
Experience needed as a Customs Admin:
- Admin skills (Communication, eye for detail, good record keeping)
- Computer skills (Good knowledge of Microsoft Office)
- Customs knowledge
