*Design Manager working within an Engineering manufacturing environment.

*Job description*Our client based in Frimley is looking for a Design Manager with experience of working within an engineering environment, manufacturing filtration systems used in Water, pharmaceutical , energy & food and beverage industry.

*Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design and engineering team to manufacture.
• Responsibility for design and manufacture of all standard products and made to order specials including technical requirements and compliance standards.
• Liaising with technical manager regarding new project development
• Responsible for design and manufacture of all products & projects
• Responsibility for department work instructions and procedures
• Liaise with sales and proposals of new projects to ensure accurate handovers given to design team.
• Attend client meetings when required.
• Health & Safety requirements

Requirements:

• Demonstrate design disciplines.
• A background in manufacturing engineering
• Supervisory / people management experience

Desirable:

• A knowledge of vessel design codes including PED, ASME, VIII, BS EN 13445 & PD5500
• An engineering degree
• Experience working with stainless steel & exotic alloys.

Working hours are Monday-Thursday & Fridays

Salary £48,000-60,000 PA
