My client is a global financial services firm with a very strong technology slant and they are looking to recruit a tech lawyer to join their team.

The role will take the lead on their technology side including all areas of AI and tech projects but the role will also give more breadth to include areas like corporate, commercial and regulatory.

The business sits in that sweet spot between financial services and tech (without the uncertainty that comes from joining a small fintech start up. This means you get the really exciting tech work with the higher salary potential of a financial services firm.

They are ideally looking for a technology lawyer with an interest in financial services and the payments world.

You will have the opportunity to cover a variety of cutting edge technology projects while rounding out your experience with the other areas listed above.

They are looking for a UK qualified Solicitor either direct out of private practice or another similar firm.

If moving from another in house role it will ideally be another financial services business or a large technology business.

When combined with very competitive compensation and a lot of flexibility (only needing to be in 2 days a week) it is a very exciting opportunity for the right person.
