This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join our International Nurse Recruitment Project Team.

As International Pastoral and Resourcing Coordinator you will play a key role in onboarding and welcoming our internationally recruited nurses to the trust.

The role is pivotal to ensure internationally recruited nurses are fully supported throughout their recruitment journey,from the point of introduction, to onboarding and beyond, providing pastoral support and advice for international recruits.


You will work closely with HR colleagues and partner organisations to support all aspects of the onboarding process, and ensure that the pastoral care our internationally recruited nurses need is in place.

You will co-ordinate and manage the arrival, welcome, and accommodation arrangements. You will be on hand to offer practical support, advice and guidance to newly arrived international nurses.


As well as fulfilling a crucial pastoral support role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient administration management systems are established and maintained.


You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines, great organisational skills and a desire to provide brilliant customer service.

You must be flexible, able to work early mornings and evenings when required. You must be adept at problem solving and able to deal with challenges positively and calmly.


To be responsible for co-ordinating and assisting with the welcome of international recruits into the UK and support the International Recruitment Project Team ensure a smooth arrival process.

You will be responsible for ensuring international recruits are supported throughout their journey from their home country to their accommodation in the UK and to their site base.

The post holder will have the ability to work independently.

The post holder will work flexibly (including some weekend and out of hours working) to meet the requirements of the role.

This role will support international recruits across the Trust's geographical area.


To facilitate and support international recruits in the inclusion of care delivery and to effectively overcome any obstacles that may arise due to lack of understanding.

To offer advice and support about the clinical environment and protocols and processes of the ward environment.
