    Global E&C are looking to for a Modular Engineering Lead to join the team on a permanent basis in Aberdeen.

    As Modular Engineering Lead you will be responsible for the establishment of the Modular Engineering Delivery Framework (MEDF) across the full lifecycle phases of Concept, FEED and Execute. You'll have a key focus on developing cross-discipline solutions that support a multi-market modular business from Proof of Concept (PoC) to serial manufacturing, with design standards to drive simplified and repeatable designs.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Developing an Engineering/Design roadmap for Modular, including system adoption to manage multi-discipline design to enable the use of standards and catalogued items.
    • All Tender and overall use of simplified design approaches.
    • Ability to clearly articulate the interface points across all disciplines and drive for efficiencies.
    • Ensuring engineering risk reviews are regularly conducted upon the contract and awareness of other EPC progress at the required interface point.
    • Ensuring appropriate peer reviews are carried out to ensure proper engineering risk mitigation is applied during key design activities.
    • Monitoring and reporting overall progress across Modular Engineering/Design team and awareness of progress of other EPC delivery performance.
    • Ensuring project change management complies with GEC processes.
    • Attendance at weekly interface meetings attended by client and other EPC companies and clearly articulating and documenting contract interface needs.

    We are looking for individuals that can demonstrate:

    • Degree qualification in relevant Engineering discipline (preferred).
    • HNC qualification in relevant Engineering discipline.
    • APMQ qualification.
    • Awareness and application of BIM upon a project.
    • Extensive experience in the Manufacturing or Oil & Gas Industry.
    • Excellent leadership qualities, effective team and scope management.
    • Previous experience as Lead Discipline Engineer or equivalent.
    • Experience in project management, risk management, quality, procurement, or construction execution.
    • Offshore certificates and ability to carry out offshore surveys are advantageous for this position.
