Accounts Assistant

Swansea

Salary-£22,000 DOE
**Permanent

  • Monday-Friday 9:00am5:00pm**
    (1/2 hour for lunch)
Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis in Swansea.


Essential

  • Sage
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Microsoft office intermediate
  • Great written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under own initiative

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Sales invoices and Sales orders
  • Timely preparation of Sales Order for Sales Managers. Where necessary liaise with them to
- ensure work is prioritised and communication to manage expectations of the Managers and
- ultimately the needs of the business.

  • Understanding of exporting, custom clearance procedures, Incoterms and preparing
- 'Commercial Sales Invoices', would be advantageous

  • Prepare reports and reconciling retail sales.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel to prepare and produce reports.
  • Setting up new customers/ suppliers and undertaking due diligence checks
  • Entering purchase invoices in to Sage and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Reviewing overheads, ensuring costs represent value for money or investigating cost savings.
