Main duties and responsibilities:


  • Ownership of the marketing automation activities and plans across the customer lifecycle to drive marketing and retention campaigns. Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to Identify ways to innovate and drive effectiveness, suggesting new processesand areas to improve.
  • Using your expertise in marketing automation, create timely, engaging, segmented communications to drive engagement and support the sales funnel, as well as defining a dynamic strategy to maximise retention.
  • Create a clear flow for nurturing leads, provided from the digital marketing acquisition team, events and conferences, webinars and other marketing activities.
  • Working with the Salesforce Administrator, regularly review and oversee any improvements required within the CRM to ensure the smooth running of campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for Account Based Marketing and introduce a programme to drive it across relevant customers.
  • Manage two direct line reports to help execute and deliver on business goals.

Skills and qualifications:


  • Good understanding of Salesforce CRM for campaign reporting, data management and sales enablement.
  • Able to derive tangible insights from data to optimise campaign activity.
  • Experienced in building dynamic campaigns using marketing automation, understanding how to nurture leads and drive conversion.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data for segmentation, cleansing and ensuring data quality is maintained and improved.

Person specification:


  • Excellent written and verbal communicator used to communicating with a professional, discerning audience and a keen eye for detail.
  • Posses a cando attitude towards work, devising practical solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Able to derive tangible insights from data to optimise campaign activity.
  • Willing to innovate and test different approaches to understand what works and what doesn't and why using the tools at your disposal such as A/B testing.
  • Degree qualified or relevant marketing qualification (e.g. Pardot Specialist certification).
