£39,748 to £44,166 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role


Are you an experienced IT professional, who is dedicated to helping their team develop the skills necessary to deliver excellent solutions and services to its customers? Do you have demonstrable experience working in SharePoint or M365 environments? If so,we have an exciting opportunity to lead a team of SharePoint/M365 specialists whose goal is provide solutions and training to help staff across our organisation.

Training will be provided as necessary.

In addition to a full induction and "on the job" training, you will have the opportunity to subscribe to professional online tutorial sites, attend technical courses, and undertake various core skills training.


About you

Responsibilities:


Lead the National Labs M365/SharePoint team, providing technical leadership and line managing team members at different stages of their career.

Lead the delivery of the training programme so staff can make best use of tools available in M365.
Regularly consult with customers to design and craft solutions that work and that our customers can easily use.
Take the lead on the use of agile tools and techniques to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
Ensure customers are advised of released functionality and engaged in future plans.
Support other team leaders and provide cover as appropriate.
Identify and/or provide training to individuals and groups of end-users and team/group members.


Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent leadership skills, including demonstrable experience of managing or organising a diverse, crossdiscipline team of varying experience
  • Experience of IT project management, preferably including agile practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of SharePoint and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English including the ability to explain technical concepts effectively to various audiences.
  • Keenness and ability to learn about new customer domains and new technologies

Desirable Skills & Attributes

  • A degree or relevant professional qualification from a recognised body.
