- Supervise two local sites and oversee the maintenance work, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection systems, and general building maintenance.
- Managing stakeholder expectations and progressing the relationship with the client.
- Collaborate with property managers to establish and implement effective maintenance programs and schedules that align with client requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, identify potential issues or deficiencies, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
- Review and approve work orders, purchase orders, and invoices related to maintenance operations.
- Investigate and resolve any maintenance-related emergencies or critical incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient service delivery and competitive pricing.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulations related to building maintenance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
- Promote a positive safety culture, adhere to health and safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or facilities management.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
