    To lead the further development, delivery and implementation of the ISP's EdTech and AI strategy, focusing on the operationalization of plans and the integration of innovative AI solutions in collaboration with development partners.

    ISP Head of EdTech and AI Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the further development, execution and delivery of the EdTech and AI strategy, with a special emphasis on AI applications.
    • Lead the work of the EdTech Steering Committee and feed into updates on strategic initiatives to Executive.
    • Work closely with development partners and internal iSP IT teams to design and implement innovative AI solutions that align with educational goals and strategies.
    • Collect information and form insight to support collaboration with the wider Learning and Innovation team for effective deployment and promotion of EdTech tools and AI applications.
    • Manage team members leading work in EdTech and digital product, aligning their activities with strategic objectives.
    • Foster relationships with ISP LabSchools and senior leadership teams in schools for trials and adoption of EdTech and AI initiatives.
    • Contribute to organisational policies on EdTech and AI.
    • Evaluate the impact of AI initiatives and adjust implementation strategies as needed.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between technical and educational teams for AI integration.
    • Stay updated on AI advancements, industry trends and competitor analysis and assess their applicability to the organization's needs.
    Skills, Qualifications and Experience
    • Experience in EdTech and AI, focusing on project implementation and partnership with development teams.
    • Leadership skills for managing diverse teams and complex technical and change projects.
    • Understanding of the application of AI in educational contexts, including knowledge of current trends, pedagogical implications, and the ability to bridge the gap between technology and educational outcomes.
    • Proven ability to lead digital product development activities, including overseeing the design, development, and deployment of educational technology tools and platforms. This involves coordinating with technical teams, understanding user needs, and ensuring products meet educational objectives.
    • Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
    • Strategic problem-solving skills.
    • Adaptability in a dynamic and evolving technology landscape.
    • Degree in Education Technology, Digital product development, AI, or a related field.
    • Additional qualifications in project management or AI highly regarded.
