    Kardex is on a transformational journey to develop a global ERP landscape and end-to-end (E2E) business processes across all regions and functions, to improve our customer and employee experience. We have launched a global program called NorthStar which will build bridges to operational and organizational excellence and transforms Kardex into a high performance, digital organization with harmonized and integrated end-to-end processes.

    Your tasks

    We are seeking a PMO Lead who will have a critical role in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the Global NorthStar program. This position requires strong project management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment with business objectives, adherence to project methodologies, and effective governance of Program initiatives on a global scale.

    Main Accountabilities (tasks and responsibilities)

    Program Governance:

  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Develop and implement project management processes, tools, and templates to support Program planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Program Planning and Execution:

  • Co-ordinate the planning, scheduling, and coordination of the Program, including resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor Program progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep Programs on track and within scope.
  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external consultants, to ensure alignment of the Program with business objectives and priorities.
  • Communicate Program status, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and seeking input and feedback as needed.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and expectations, proactively addressing concerns and fostering a collaborative and supportive project environment.
  • External Consultant Management:

  • Serve as point of contact between the external consulting team and internal stakeholders, including project managers, subject matter experts, and senior leadership.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, support, and feedback to consultants to ensure alignment with program goals and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Implement quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality Program solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular Program reviews, audits, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to Program governance and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal audit teams and external regulators to address any compliance-related issues or concerns.
  • Contract Analysis:

  • Review and analyze contract documents, including terms, conditions, scope of work, and deliverables.
  • Identify potential risks, ambiguities, and inconsistencies within contract language and requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and subject matter experts to ensure contract compliance and mitigate potential liabilities.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • SAP S/4HANA Functional Knowledge and familiarity with SAP's implementation methodologies; ideally within industrial manufacturing
  • Strong Communication Skills and the ability to convey project objectives, status updates, and expectations to diverse stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
  • Be adaptable to varying work environments, stakeholder needs, and project dynamics to navigate complexities effectively.
  • Be able to work across different regions and cultures with cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Ability to inspire and lead global project teams, even without direct authority.
  • Ability to handle complex challenges that require creative problem-solving skills .
  • Have a collaborative mindset , encourage knowledge sharing, and facilitate teamwork to leverage diverse perspectives and expertise.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and stakeholders across different regions effectively.

  • Your profile

    Training /Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP) is a plus
  • Professional Experience:

  • 5 years+ experience in PMO, with a focus on ERP implementations or large-scale IT projects.
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems, processes, and best practices, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex project portfolios.
  • Previous experience of global ERP implementation ideal
  • Other:

  • You have fluent communication skills in English, German or other European languages are a plus
  • High degree international travel is required
