This role is within the Training and Development team to develop Inclusion Gloucestershire's Training and Development offer as well as being part of a partnership project with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust to deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disabilities and Autism to health and social care staff.

You will be working alongside Experts by Experience, the Training Manager and partners from Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

This role includes line management of Trainers with lived experience of learning disability and/or autism.

The role consists of two elements.


Our training projects are income generating and will involve working with the wider team to secure commissions through networking and marketing, develop our training offer and to meet funding targets.

Our training project takes an issues-based approach to developing training, information, advice, and awareness-raising.

We do this through a range of media, including film productions, drama and training that are co-produced by people with lived experience of disability, neurodivergence or mental ill health.


Inclusion Gloucestershire brings a co-produced user-led element to the training, covering topics including learning disability awareness, understanding autism, reasonable adjustments, supporting people with mental health conditions, communication, and supporting young people with a learning disability.

This is part of a partnership with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

You will be working with Experts by Experience to deliver both Tier 1 (webinar) and Tier 2 (full day face to face training) to staff in Gloucestershire.


Job Purpose:

To design, promote and deliver engaging, impactful training about a range of issues, in partnership with people with lived experience of a disability, neurodivergence or mental ill health.



Hours and pay:

Hours: 25


Salary:
£27,514 FTE, £14.11 per hour

Locations:
Railway House, Bruton Way, GL1 1DG with scope for some home working

Holiday: 28 days + bank holidays pro rata
