    Description

    Our client is looking for a candidate to join their Treasury Finance team and help shape policies and controls in a changing business environment.

    As a Treasury Accountant, you will support a range of teams as well as performing key tasks including controls and reconciliations.

    The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding or have worked in a Treasury Finance or Product Control team and be a Qualified Accountant.

    Executing essential accounting tasks to accurately portray the financial status, encompassing assets, liabilities, and financial performance.
    Conducting reconciliation procedures for the designated business entity, guaranteeing alignment with internal policies and risk management objectives.
    Establishing comprehensive audit trails for all financial operations, bolstering the control framework surrounding reconciliation processes.
    Assisting Front Office on handling transactional and strategy booking.
    ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant

    ~ Understand treasury and wholesale products and services, including cash and funding instruments, derivatives, and bonds.

    Previous experience in or auditing a Treasury Finance/Product Control function or Market Risk function in the Financial Services or Banking industry.

    Knowledge of front office booking systems and Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
