Healthcare Assistant, RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT- Band 3

Who are we?

The Radiology Department at the Royal United Hospital, Bath offers state-of-the-art multimodality imaging to the local community.

Each year the department offers over 300,000 imaging examinations in the areas of Plain Film Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT, PET-CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional & Cardiac Radiology.

We are looking for a dedicated, friendly and self-motivated member of staff to join our existing team.

Experience working in a Radiology department would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

Role Responsibilities

Assist Radiologists, Radiology Nurses and Radiographers in providing high quality service.
Provide a high standard of patient care.
Carry out routine and additional/extended role duties, when trained and assessed as competent, as instructed by and under the supervision of the registered nurse in charge.
Contribute to patient assessment and ensure patient confidentiality is respected.
Monitor patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight.
