**About the role

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Support the delivery of the IT Service Management strategy and support effective decision making.

  • Lead a team of IT Service Managers to ensure high quality work is delivered that meets the needs of the business.
  • Manage the planning, implementation, control, review and audit of service provision, to meet customer business requirements and operate continuous improvement.
  • Manage change to the service infrastructure including service assets, configuration items and associated documentation.
**Person specification

  • Experience of delivering IT Service Change projects or managing IT networks across an organisation with an understanding of the relevant IT activities
  • Wide range experience, managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Extensive experience managing a team with a variety of technical and nontechnical stakeholders
In addition to the responsibilities above, the following technical competences and behaviours will be assessed at interview:

  • Service Delivery and Operations (Expert)
  • Information Assurance (Awareness)
  • Leadership (CSBC 4)
  • Communicating and Influencing (CSBC 4)
