Trainee Train Driver
- Salary during training: £24,000pa
- Salary once qualified: £58,000 pa
- Hours: Around the clock shift work including weekends

As part of our team of highly skilled Train Drivers you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our customers across our network.
You will also play a part in customer service delivery, ensuring our customers get the best experience whilst travelling with TPE, so being approachable and friendly is also important.
As a trainee, you will be placed on the Level 3 Train Driver Qualification as well as functional skills if applicable.
For the first 9 to 12 months in role you will undertake an intensive training programme led by our dedicated Training Team, based in the classroom and on the train.
This may involve some periods away from home.There's a lot to learn in this rewarding role, so you'll be required to work hard, and we will expect your commitment to becoming a qualified train driver.

The selection process?
For health and safety reasons you will have to achieve a minimum medical criterion, including specific visual and hearing standards.
_Due to Health and Safety responsibilities applicants must fall within the height ranges of 5ft2 to 6ft4 inclusive. Due to night-time driving we cannot accept applicants who have undergone eye surgery._
