Software Engineer (Python)

Salary - £40,000 - £90,000

Location - Leeds (hybrid working)

What does this Software Engineer role entail?

Working in agile teams to provide a high level of programming and engineering
Being a handson active member of the team, and getting involved in daily discussions and trials of new tools and techniques
Participating in reviews of all kinds, not just on your own work but for your colleagues also
Internal stakeholder engagement
A willingness to learn and grow within the team, sharing knowledge and collaborating with everyone
Flexibility to be in the office at the heart of Leeds 3 days per week
Potentially working with Public Sector bodies including HMRC, Home Office, NHS and MOD

What is required for this role as a Software Engineer?

At least 2 years commercial experience using Python, motivated by continuing to use this
A passion for software development
Familiarity with a range of programming languages, but mainly Python
Eligibility for SC Security Clearance (British Citizen or ILR status in the UK)
