    Description

    We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join our busy team selling new & used vehicles and associated products from our state of the art Ford showroom in Trowbridge. The successful candidate will be personally presentable, target driven, outgoing with a desire to give the very highest levels of customer service. A proven track record in vehicle or finance sales essential.

    You will be responsible for taking our customers through the buying journey for new & used vehicles which will include financial qualification and deal negotiation so you will need to be confident, friendly have an aptitude for paperwork and able to deal with a variety of different customer types. You will need to be a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative when required plus willing to undergo ongoing physical and virtual training as required.

    There is a reasonable level of administration involved with this role so you must be organized and have the ability to manage your time effectively.
    This is a demanding but rewarding career, the role would include a basic salary of up to £18,000 p.a, plus £1,000 p.a holiday commission, you will also be rewarded for indiviudal sales performance and customer satisfaction, with a realistic OTE package of circa £40,000. The role also includes the use of a company vehicle (including fully comprehensive insurance)

    You must have a full UK driving license (minor points considered) and be willing to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

    • Provide the highest level of customer service by providing a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive and efficient service projecting the Company's image
    • Assist customers with their vehicle choice and any associated products
    • Accompany prospective customers on test drives
    • Explain and offer Finance options
    • Keep up to date on the products and services
    • Liaise with the valeting / service team regarding vehicle collection and handover
    • Assist with forecourt and showroom management
    • Achieve personal car sales targets, profit targets and activity levels
    • Operate within company policies and procedures, including GDPR
      • A full, current and valid UK Driving License
      • Flexibility and commitment – you will be expected to work some weekends and bank holidays
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      • Good IT skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook
      • Knowledge and awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
