An exciting opportunity has arisen at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust for an enthusiastic and conscientious Administrator to join our team of Booking Officers.

You should have previous administration/reception experience and ideally have knowledge/experience of working within a healthcare environment.


The majority of these hours will be based at Wexham but a small number of hours can be based at Heatherwood.


As part of the Therapy Clinic Coordinator team, to provide a cross site service for the booking patient Therapy appointments.


  • To be responsible for managing clinicians' diary templates
  • To make sure that all new patients are registered
  • To update patient information on systems, as and when required to ensure timely accurate data.
  • To book new and follow up appointments in line with the Trust Access policy, ensuring patient choice and optimal use of staff diaries/clinics.
  • To provide administrative support to the therapy outpatients service.
  • To act as first point of contact (via reception and telephone) for all patients, staff and visitors to the therapy department.
  • To liaise with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • To maintain an exemplary standard of customer care and patient confidentiality.

This job description should be read in conjunction with the supervisory JD Addendum.

To produce the induction documentation for new staff and students and arrange initial computer training and ID and car parking as necessary

To act as Fire, Training, DSE, IT, Single Point of Contact for Security and Intranet Administrator

Support office risk assessments

Ensure office upkeep and stock (PPE, stationary, estates requests, IT requests)

Create and maintain the Appointment templates

To assist the Team lead with any tasks identified within the team.
