Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain kitchen and back of house cleanliness in accordance with food hygiene regulations, using the correct cleaning chemicals on the correct areas and surfaces.
  • Clearing tables in the café throughout shift, then washing, drying and replenishing front of house.
  • Ensure that the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules are completed and signed off.
  • Ensure there are adequate cleaning chemicals and equipment, making sure they are used and maintained in both a safe and costeffective manner.
  • All waste/rubbish must be recycled into the appropriate bins.
  • Ensure adherence to all food safety, health and safety policies, procedures and legislation as defined.
  • Assist in all cleaning duties as required.
  • Continuously strive for higher standards of cleanliness.
  • Positive, friendly and professional attitude
  • Previous experience in a similar environment preferred
  • A team player with an ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
  • A high standard of personal presentation
