    Our client (a global investment management firm) is undergoing projects to upgrade their data and reporting systems to enhanced connectivity and efficiency. They are looking for two Data/Reporting Analysts to support their current operations and the migration to the new MATRIX solutions.

    Position Overview:

    As a Performance Reporting Analyst, you'll be responsible for supporting the investment management firm's operations by ensuring data accuracy, conducting daily validation, troubleshooting anomalies, and assisting in the migration to new data and reporting systems (MATRIX solutions). This role involves both maintaining the current reporting infrastructure and actively contributing to the implementation and optimisation of new systems.

    Responsibilities:

    Data Quality Assurance: You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining data quality and accuracy across various data feeds. This involves thorough validation of data inputs, identifying discrepancies, and rectifying errors promptly to ensure the integrity of financial reports.

    Daily Data Validation: Conducting regular checks on incoming data to identify any inconsistencies or irregularities. Your role will involve analysing large datasets to spot anomalies and taking corrective actions as necessary to uphold data integrity.

    Process Automation: Leveraging your proficiency in tools such as MS Excel (including VBA), BI tools like PowerBI/Tableau, and Power Query, you'll automate repetitive tasks and streamline reporting processes. This automation not only enhances efficiency but also reduces the risk of manual errors.

    Support MATRIX Implementation: Actively participate in the implementation of new MATRIX solutions, contributing your expertise in data quality assurance and troubleshooting. You'll collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transition and ongoing support for the new reporting infrastructure.

    Ideal Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA), BI tools (e.g., PowerBi/Tableau), and Power Query.
    • Familiarity with BBG/BBG Wizard.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work with large datasets and conduct data cleaning.
    • Experience in fund reporting, performance measurement, and regulatory reporting is preferred.
