- Able to apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to industry standards.

- SAP experience
- Siemens NX proficient (or other 2D/ 3D), modelling, drafting and assemblies.
- Aerospace, Automotive or Oil & Gas background favourable
- HNC / Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience in heat exchanger manufacture
- Communication skills. Should be comfortable challenging existing methods and suggesting improvements.
- Organization abilities (Attention to detail)

Summary of position
The manufacturing engineering function supports the business in the following areas: core build and corrugation manufacture, commercial value stream, military value stream and digitalisation (introduction of Solumina). The expectation will be that the Manufacturing Engineer will support these value streams in achieving OTD and quality metrics.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be expected to liaise with suppliers and customers as required and support daily production & programme needs. Occasionally the Manufacturing Engineer will be required to carry out tasks outside their normal reemit and hours, so flexibility is essential.
