Are you passionate about campaigns, local democracy, diversity, and business and community engagement? The City of London Corporation is looking for an experienced, talented and creative Campaign Manager to oversee all aspects of its engagement campaign ahead of its local elections in March 2025. You'd play a central role in achieving our key goals of increased voter registration, higher turnout and greater numbers of candidates, especially those from under-represented groups.
Elections in the City of London, the world's longest-running local democracy, are unique. In addition to those who live here, City workers can vote if they are registered by their organisation. With more than 6,000 workplaces across the Square Mile, this is a significant business and community engagement challenge.
We're looking for someone with significant experience managing campaigns across different channels, who knows how to juggle a wide range of stakeholder relationships in a complex political organisation. You will be a great communicator, confident and persuasive, both in writing and in person – whether that's in encouraging people to consider standing as candidates for election or presenting reports to our main committees.
This will be a fascinating and unique challenge, working with all kinds of individuals and organisations across the Square Mile. Success in the role will help shape the future of the City for many years to come.
