- To assist in providing a cost effective, fit for purpose and timely design and surveying service to internal and external clients.
- To assist in the acquisition, interpretation and storage of all survey data to meet business objectives.
- To assist in the maintenance, storage and calibration of survey equipment held within the integrated surveying and design team.
- To assist in undertaking the required surveys to meet business objectives.
- To assist with the preparation of CAD drawings based on collected survey data to meet business objectives.
- To proactively participate as a member of an integrated surveying and design team in the delivery of projects.
- To maintain liaison with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that surveys are completed to time.
- To assist in the provision of professional survey input into the design and IDC process for allocated projects.
- To assist in the preparation of site safety documentation for surveying activities in line with current standards and individual project requirements.
- An ability to work and communicate effectively in a team context.
- A working Knowledge of topographical surveying
- Working towards on ONC/OND in a relevant discipline
- A Surveying degree or equivalent industry-recognised training qualification.
- Membership of a relevant engineering professional institution.
- A working knowledge of rail engineering; relevant successful experience working in the principal discipline and an adequate understanding of all other related disciplines.
- Construction Design Management competence.
- Full Driving Licence
