South Shields is looking to appoint a creative teaching assistant to join their dynamic and forward thinking school.

The staff at the school pride themselves on being friendly and supporting - making the school feel homely and a real community

The main duties will include:

Supporting the pupils in their education through the national curriculum
Supporting and managing the behaviour of 30 pupils
Working with the class teacher to implement interventions
Supporting and delivering creative and innovative lessons
Using formative and summative assessment
Assessing phonics following the school's chosen program
Promoting independence with life skills
Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
Be available for work Monday to Friday
Be a recent graduate
Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
A fully checkable work history
In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants._
