    This is an exciting opportunity to join a new People Strategy Team. Through our People Strategy we are dedicated to future-proofing our council by aligning its design with the workforce needs of tomorrow. We want our people policies to support us to deliver our People Strategy. As well as being legally compliant, our people policies will be forward thinking, deliver best practice and be business focused. Our people policies will enable us to support an inclusive performance culture.

    We are looking for someone who is experienced in leading people policy development from concept, drafting, engagement/consultation to delivery and embedding into practice. You will be able to engage stakeholders and our trade unions and also use data insights, research, best practice and benchmarking to ensure our policies act as enablers to support our people strategy.

    The interview process is expected to be week commencing 13th May 2024
