    WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems (WHIS) is a leader in the Embedded Safety and Security software market with a wide range of customers from small dynamic start-ups to some of the world's most prestigious global technology companies. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for the very best people to join our team based in Bristol.

    This is a great opportunity for someone with sales experience to progress their career in an established company. The successful candidate should be articulate and a self-starter with the desire to develop their sales career within a fast-paced team.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Maintain responsibility for personal workloads, including daily upkeep of business development activity, enquiries, callbacks, opportunities, forecasted business and live projects.
    • Make effective use of the Company's CRM system in order to track and develop sales opportunities effectively and accurately maintain pipeline reports.
    • Receive sales enquiries from potential customers and ensure their specific requirements are understood to develop these to a sale.
    • Confidently present WHIS to organisations in a variety of formats, including some attendance at tradeshows and conferences and customer meetings when required.
    • Make effective use of systems to prepare quotations and licence agreements.
    • Develop knowledge of WHIS' position within the marketplace and understand our competitors' products, pricing policy and current activity in order to improve the sales process.

    • Act as the liaison between our customers and the engineering team to identify how our products will be used and how they should be tailored to customer's needs
    • Show drive and determination in pursuing the correct solution for the customer
    • Show integrity (it's not just our products that are high integrity, but our personnel as well)
    • Work at our Bristol office (hybrid) and travel when required
    • Provide evidence of a permanent Right to Work in the UK

    Minimum Education Standard: Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (minimum of 2:1)

    Required Experience and Expertise:

    • Previous sales experience, ideally with experience selling technical/software products such as operating systems
    • Previous experience working in a high-tech, engineering company
    • Previous experience in a performance-driven environment
    • Awareness of the implications of working in an international company
    • Excellent ability in written and spoken English
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Able to prioritise a busy workload, and keep to deadlines
    • A logical and organised approach to tasks with a high degree of accuracy

    Highly Desirable Additional Skills and Experience:

    • Previous experience with CRM Systems e.g. SalesForce

    Benefits:

    • Annual bonus based on Company and individual performance
    • 25 days annual leave, with additional holiday for long service after 2 years
    • 38 hour week with flexible start and finish times around core hours of Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 16:00, Friday 10:00 to 13:00
