    The team prides itself on being able to offer clear and concise legal advice, providing tailored guidance that is suited to the unique requirements of their clients.

    The team also advises insolvency practitioners, lenders, borrowers, directors, distressed investors and other relevant organisations and individuals on their rights and obligations in respect of both transactional and contentious work.

    The team frequently undertakes transactional (pre-packs, administrations, CVAs, restructuring plans, cross-border restructurings), contentious (actions against or defending former directors and antecedent transactions), enforcement and general advisory work.


    Position Overview:


    We are seeking a Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer with a strong ability to undertake contentious and/or transactional restructuring and insolvency work.

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex transactions and provide strategic advice to clients across the core areas of restructuring and insolvency.

    Responsibilities:
    Lead and manage complex real estate finance transactions, including acquisition financing, construction financing, refinancing, and loan restructuring.

    Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including loan documentation, security arrangements, and regulatory compliance.

    Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop effective strategies to mitigate risks.
    Negotiate and draft a variety of legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary contracts.

    Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of transactions and the achievement of client objectives.

    Stay abreast of industry developments, legal trends, and regulatory changes affecting real estate finance transactions, and provide proactive guidance to clients and colleagues.


    Requirements:


    UK Qualified solicitor with experience (2-5 years) in restructuring and insolvency law, covering acquisition, debt, structured and real estate finance.

    Strong expertise in structuring, negotiating, and documenting real estate finance transactions, with a deep understanding of relevant legal principles and industry practices.

    Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services and achieving favourable outcomes for clients.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
