Summary

This job is responsible for supporting operational processes across multiple teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cross functional support for the Operations team supporting Optics Preparation, Electronics Workshop, Chemical Cleaning, Stores and Final Quality
  • Tasks will include (but not limited to)
  • Assembly of mechanical laser chassis & components within the Electro-Mechanical department
  • Supporting chemical cleaning department with component final quality checks and packing
  • Processing of incoming goods and movement of goods within the manufacturing cycle
  • Final product checks before packing of laser systems to ISTA standards ready for shipment
  • Any other task commensurate with the role.
General Tasks

  • Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
  • Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Maths and English)
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
