Allen Lane are delighted to be working with a London based University in their search for an IT Support Analyst to join the IT team on a permanent basis to support stakeholders from across the university both in person and remotely.

This will be a hybridposition with 2/3 days per week required on site (depending on workload)

The role

As an IT Support Analyst you will:

Provide an effective interface between the stakeholders and the IT service,
Ensure all diagnostic information is provided for error resolution and incident analysis;
Proactively identify solutions to user problems and propose how they will be implemented;
To provide effective support to offcampus staff and faculty via remote access tools
Assist with hardware setup, software installation and regular maintenance on a range of devices, including mobile technologies;
Assist in the setup and management of user accounts to ensure secure and appropriate access.

As an IT Support Analyst you will have

Experience working in a similar role in a largescale networked environment
Excellent technical skills including with Microsoft products and a willingness to acquire others as required
Knowledge and experience of supporting a wide range of hardware in a hybrid environment both in person and via remote support tools
The ability to document IT procedures, log, investigate and track issues
Excellent communication skills to share technical information and instructions to nontechnical people;
Experience of user management, troubleshooting and problem resolution in Active Directory; experience providing effective and customercentric services, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction;
A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent working experience

What you get in return
A salary between £32,000 - £36,000 plus a range of excellent benefits.
