- Solution Design – Developing simple solution designs and incorporating basic patterns independently or in collaboration with experienced architects.
- Assuring Solutions – Participating in assurance processes to validate that solutions meet business requirements and reduce risks.
- Accurate Documentation and Record Keeping – Generating architecture artefacts such as high-level designs, key decision documents, and maintaining records in Enterprise Architecture tooling.
- Solutions Delivery – Collaborating with project teams and SMEs to facilitate delivery and assure lower-level designs.
- Providing Clarity on Architecture Processes and Services – Offering guidance to individuals or projects on engaging with architecture services and processes.
- Enhancing the Discipline – Supporting initiatives to enhance the architecture discipline through tooling enhancements and process optimizations.
- Ensuring adherence to best business practices and proper change processes, including IT Change Management Standard.
- Preferred qualifications in technical change or technology-related fields; academic background in technical subjects is also advantageous.
- Demonstrated understanding of the value of architecture.
- Knowledge in technical domains such as data, systems, software, and engineering is a plus.
- Familiarity with technology trends and a passion for architecture.
- Effective communication with stakeholders and adapting messaging styles as needed.
- Collaborating with technical teams like engineering, software, security, or change management.

Job Description
We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for an Associate IT Architect to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will play a key part in various architectural activities within the Group Architecture Practice. Your responsibilities will include supporting Business Architecture, IT Architecture Delivery, and Technology Governance by conducting discovery workshops, synthesizing design inputs, applying design patterns, ensuring simpler designs, and utilizing architecture tooling.
