Test Automation Engineer (Mobile Banking App)

Key Tasks:
Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test scripts for mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Provide support to developers and product owners in utilizing test management tools effectively for streamlined workflows.
Actively contribute to the development of new testing concepts and tools and integrate them into automated test suites.
Offer hands-on assistance to teams in implementing software testing processes, including end-to-end automation and API testing for mobile platforms.
Collaborate with international teams in Switzerland and India to synchronize testing efforts and ensure consistency across projects.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology.

Over 5 years of experience in the Software Testing industry, with a focus on Test Automation scripting (preferably using Appium, Selenium, Java) or Test-Driven Development (TDD), alongside Manual Testing using Zephyr/Jira API, Postman/SoapUI, and Basic Linux.

Extensive experience in devising test strategies for mobile applications and API testing.
Strong understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Understanding of mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and their ecosystems including SDKs and version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.

Proven ability to translate user stories and acceptance criteria into effective test cases.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and various testing approaches.
Proficiency in Test Case Management tools, particularly Jira Zephyr API.Preferred domain knowledge in Banking and Finance.
Certification in testing methodologies such as ISTQB or CSTE is a plus.
Self-organized, strong communication skills with excellent English communication skills for global team coordination.
Exceptional analytical abilities, perseverance, enthusiasm, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other project ceremonies. If anyone interested share your cv to
