    • Lead Veterinary Nurse - Consults

Location: 2 Pottery Street, Kirkcaldy, Fife Hours: Full time, Part time Practice: St. Clair Veterinary Group Kirkcaldy Salary: £32,240 per annum, Depending on experience Practice Details

If you are a current Linnaeus Associate, you will need to apply internally. In order to do this, please contact our Talent Acquisition team (details can be found via The Link) and someone will be in touch to discuss and progress your application.

We are looking for a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse with a desire to grow and develop within our nursing team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week to include one in four Saturday mornings, there will be no OOHs or on call required. We would consider a part-time position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work alongside an established team who appreciate the value this role would bring to the patient and client journey.

There will be the opportunity to maintain nursing competency in all areas of the practice, with allocated shifts in wards, theatre, radiography, nurse consults and lab.

As a lead nurse in Consults you would be expected to work alongside the Clinical Nursing Manager and Clinical Director to ensure full utilisation of the nursing team and that all appropriate nurse consultations are booked in with our nursing team. You would be expected to have a desire to establish new nurse clinics and there running. Complete audits at least annually to identify areas of opportunity within the nurse consultation service.

We offer a varied caseload and areas of interest are encouraged and supported. CPD is provided in-house and externally and as a training practice the willingness to support student training is important.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an RVN to join our friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic nursing team. You will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and work well in a large team. You will be required to manage a small team and work closely with the other lead nurses and the clinical nurse manager to provide a high level of patient care and standards.

We are a training practice so being a clinical coach would be beneficial. If you are not, we would be looking to put you through your training.
