    Job Title: Pastry Sous Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant

    Location: Central London, UK

    Salary: £45,000 per annum

    I'm currently looking to recruit an ambitious Pastry Sous Chef for our client, an esteemed fine dining restaurant situated in the vibrant culinary scene of London.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Head Pastry Chef in leading the pastry kitchen operations, including production, plating, and presentation of desserts and baked goods.
    • Assist in the development and execution of innovative pastry menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative techniques.
    • Supervise and train pastry team members to ensure adherence to high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency.
    • Contribute to inventory management, procurement, and cost control initiatives to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
    • Assist in maintaining impeccable cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the pastry kitchen.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hospitality establishment.
    • Strong proficiency in pastry techniques, dessert preparation, and presentation.
    • Creative flair and passion for innovation, with a meticulous attention to detail.
    • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and pastry trends.
