Amazing opportunity for a Business Development Executive This role is to work within the Business Development team, handling quotations and itinerary building for groups travelling to the UK and rest of Europe, up to the point of confirmation and then hand-overto the Operations team.


The Job:

  • Both clientfacing and supplierfacing.
  • Working with our partners and providing competitive and accurate quotations and itinerary suggestions on time and in line with the client's deadline, upholding our reputation as a trusted company offering a high level of customer service.
  • Building, developing, strengthening, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and helping them grow their group business by converting more quotes into confirmations and providing them with unique and winning ideas and inclusions.
  • Researching and arranging technical visits for specific client interests and constantly adding to knowledge of European destinations and products.
  • Building close relationships with suppliers including hotels, coach companies, restaurants, guides, and entertainment venues in the UK and across Europe and negotiating and obtaining best rates from them whenever necessary as part of providing quotations
  • Undertaking site inspections and preparing for and attending workshops and FAM trips as and when required
  • Once confirmed, handing over the file to the operations team in an organised and accurate manner, based on the company's established procedures

Skills Required:

  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe
  • Previous UK and European group experience of at least 1 year in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional customer service and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Ability to use initiative and to work creatively & independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Being proactive in sourcing alternative solutions

The Package:

  • Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience & languages.
  • Luncheon vouchers to the value of £250 per year after 6 months
  • Annual discretionary bonuses, dependent upon the performance of the company
