Quorn are currently recruiting for a site Safety, Health & Environment Advisor to join our team based out of our Billingham facility.
The Role
Our Billingham facility is at the heart of what we do and the facility where the initial production of all Quorn products begins.
We are now seeking a SHE advisor to assist our management team & on-site employees on all aspects of operational health, safety & environmental matters.
You will play an integral part in supporting our leadership teams to meet legal compliance & implementation of industry best practice, managing relevant systems which enable managers to ensure safe operations.
The successful applicant will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent)
- NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (or equivalent)
- Ideally hold 3 years + working in a health & safety related role
- Hold a working knowledge of UK safety & environmental legislation
- Capability to build productive working relationships across an organisation with both internal & external stakeholders
- Ideally hold various assessor qualifications such as manual handling, work equipment, COSHH & food safety
- A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet you don't have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn
