PLEASE NOTE:
Interviews for this post will be held during the week begining 17/04/2023


Main duties of role:


  • Support the development of the HLS volunteering offer in line with LCC and national volunteering good practice principles, including management responsibility of volunteers
  • Support the sustainability and growth of Leicestershire County Councils Home Library Service in line with agreed targets
  • To help research models of delivery to ensure future sustainability
  • Support a pilot to embed the HLS within the wider cultural outreach offer

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • BTEC higher or NVQ 3 (or equivelent)
  • Experience of recruiting, supporting and managing volunteers
  • Knowledge of good practice principles in volunteer management
  • Experience of working in a community, culture or heritage environment
  • Experience of working with the public in a customer focussed environment, particularly in dealing with community groups and oganisations
  • Multiagency /partnership working
